Welcome Center brochure program rates

The annual rates for participation in the Welcome Center Brochure program are based upon the type of business, the size of the brochure, and the number of Welcome Centers selected. For more information, see the table below, or download our application forms.

Types of Business (aka Class of Service) Include:

Commercial

This classification applies to all profit-oriented businesses and associations established to selectively serve specific types of business, and all tax exempt (non-profit) organizations that charge a gate fee, or an admission fee, or whose funding comes in part from a permanent staffed facility that sells goods to the public.

Small business

This classification applies to businesses, associations as above with 15 or fewer employees during your busy season; or your business must be operational for no more than 6 months during a calendar year.

Service

This classification applies to all Chambers of Commerce and VCBs located in communities with a population exceeding 3000, and to all governmental service agencies other than Federal and State agencies as noted below. This classification also applies to other non-profit organizations that rely primarily on memberships and voluntary contributions for funding, and do not provide any commercial service to the public or selective service for specific types of business (i.e. Industry specific associations are considered Commercial).

SC 3000

This classification applies only to Chambers of Commerce and VCBs located in small communities with populations of less than 3000.

Reference

This classification applies only to Chambers of Commerce located in small communities with populations of less than 3000, and only in those cases where a Chamber wants a Welcome Center to maintain a supply of their brochures “behind the counter” to be handed out upon request only.

Federal and State

Federal and State government agency brochures that are informational only are EXEMPT (exception: Government agency brochures with commercial advertising sponsorship qualify as service classification. See above.).
