New programs

We're constantly looking for new ways to serve Oregon businesses, attractions and motorists. Here are a few of the things we're working on. If you see something interesting and wish to become involved, contact the OTIC staff person in charge of the project.

Travel plazas

The Travel Plaza concept began simply, by asking visitors and industry professionals “What if we could give the traveling public a better and more welcoming experience throughout Oregon?”

Wireless Internet in rest areas

In cooperation with the Oregon Department of Transportation and the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department, wi-fi has come to two state rest areas adjacent to popular state parks.

Transportation & Tourism Task Force

TIC has the honor of facilitating Governor Kulongoski's Transportation & Tourism Task Force - an assembly of public and private entities working together to synchronize tourism and transportation enhancement efforts throughout Oregon.
